MAJOR LABEL PICKS UP CHART SMASHERS COPAMORE & MIKEY SHYNE, NEW SINGLE EXPECTED

2017 proved to be an incredibly successful year for Austrian brother-producer-duo Copamore and New York Urban/Pop vocal darling Mikey Shyne, holding more than their fair share of real estate on the EDM Charts. With neither artist nearly as active as they were in 2018, the awkward silence is about to be broken, just in time to provide us with a summer smash!

Rumor has it that they are teaming back up and already in the studio working on another ‘get-moving’ single, but this time have been picked up by a major label. No word yet on which of the “BIG THREE” – Warner, Sony, Universal has scooped them up, but now that they are getting their chance with a traditional big timer, a lot of eyes will be watching to see if they have what it takes to really take it to the next level.

They successfully reached the Top 10 on iTunes 3 times and also reigned supreme in December with “Step Into The Light 2K18” reaching No. 1 on the International DJ Charts. With Copamore’s melodic-Pop-influenced Tropical House tendencies and Mikey Shyne’s edgy, powerful Pop vocals that have that distinctive “Ping” to them, there is no doubt that whatever is to be released will be next level and put them back on top again in 2018.

Copamore got back together after a 15 year split and made a huge splash in 2016, with the Euro song-of-the-summer “Where’s Your Love”, a Tropical House Masterpiece. Since then, they have slowly been riding the sliders up and down creating more and more press, gaining new fans and covering all sorts of new territory.

The new single will also be an excellent mid-summers start for Mikey Shyne who has been on a hiatus from music to handle some personal matters. After blasting onto the scene in 2015 like a bat out of hell, even the most modest or simplest of performances & releases were nothing to pass up for music fans that crossed his path. Accompanied by celeb-pals, top music professionals and even Hip-Hop legends like Kurtis Blow always seemed to be around as Mikey shocked and awed live crowds. THISIS50 even snatched him for an interview after his FIRST EVER live performance.

Now, with a new complete team together and professional execs backing him, his debut album release, singles featuring Kurtis Blow & DJ Tomekk and a long overdue track with Copamore, maybe becoming a household name is unfolding in front of our eyes.
