Stage name Anacy, is an Indie Pop artist and songwriter from Cape Town,
South Africa. Anacy’s parents manifested her career in Arts &
Entertainment, naming her Anacy Rose Tainton, which makes up her
initials, ART. She was introduced to music, and dance at a tender age and
as a child, she performed in various talent shows and singing
competitions. Moreover, Anacy took 2nd place in the Western Cape for
Dance Studies. This led her to take on Dance/Drama and in Matric. Anacy
decided to further pursue her passion at AFDA (Africa Film Drama Art)
