Twenty-one year old Joseph Truelove Perez, known as qifi, is taking the internet by storm with his striking, unique sound.
A college graduate, From CSU Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, qifi was born and raised in Mission Viejo, California where he began playing piano five years ago and found a passion for creating music. Now, he produces future bass and house music and shares his music on mainstream platforms, including iTunes, Spotify and Beatport.
DJ-ing for three years, qifi now hopes to start taking on music festivals. His latest single “Come Up” was released in November 2016 to growing success and in the following year he is determined to build on his sound and platform, to gain more listeners and spread his sound far and wide.
Building a steady following on social media, such as Instagram and YouTube, qifi is becoming a well-known name in South Orange County and it’s only a matter of time before this spreads. Working independently to produce his own tracks, graphics, editing and marketing; qifi is a determined figure in the house scene. With pulsing beats and motivating rhythms, his style is gipping and fresh.
