From a young age Jay Machiavelli has always had a deep interest in music. With two older brothers who mainly listened to late 90’s and early 2000’s, Jay was heavily influenced by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, and many other rappers who have been in the game for a very long time. Jay Machiavelli become a DJ right around the time that he started rapping, which he found opened doors for more opportunities to perform. With a Bachelors degree majoring in Digital Audio Recording Arts and minoring in business Machiavelli is well rounded. Jay is not only an artist & DJ, but he is also a producer, audio engineer, and MC. Jay Machiavelli is a co-founder of the Rare Deviation Record Label, and is one of the writers for the Rare Deviation Blog. Music is Jay Machiavelli’s life, and his main focus in the industry.
