Panda is a Dominican song writer who was born in Lawrence, MC and raised in Broward county, Fl. Inspired at the age of 8 years old Panda started writing Poetry which developed into writing music. Biggest inspiration for music comes from XXX Tentacion

1-When and why did you start playing?
I started playing at a young age I just never went with it as my career until I got to my 20s and I started learning and taking Music much more serious now it’s the career I always dreamed of.

2-Which famous musicians do you admire? Why? I admire 90s musicians the most, I love Latin music, I listen to a lot of genres. I definitely love aaliyah, Sade, Lana del Rey, what I love about these musicians is that they have their own sound and it sounds so amazing

3-Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones? I definitely was inspired by old tapes. By nirvana I love “in utero”

4-Who are your favorite musicians? Groups? CD’s? This might sound corny but when I was a teenager I listened to the Jonas brothers everyday, Avril Lavigne, Miley, Jojo, I still listen to these old cds that my parents use to get me because I would beg them, but right now I will say my all time favorites are Lana del Rey, xxxtentacion, Aaliyah, Nirvana, Sade, Robb bank$, Kodak black, kanye

5-Have you been in competitions? Fleadh’s? Any prizes? Yes I have it was a writing competitt in high school for a we had to make a story sound true and detailed, well lets just say I won. I didn’t win anything tho but I was happy Because I never won anything before.

6-Do you perform in public? Describe those occasions? Concerts, radio, TV
Hahahahah not yet, but I would love to perform at rolling loud Miami

7-What makes this kind of music “good” to you? My feelings put in a song sounds good to me. If it makes me feel like a person alive I’m with it it sounds amazing to me.

8-Why did you choose to play this kind of music? Because I can listen to my own music and feel better and know that I can provide myself with the type of music I want to listen to.

9-Let’s Talk about your music and your last work… 
Wow it was the best experience I had making my first song ever and shooting the video were my favorite moments, I love recording so i don’t feel like I’m at work, i have new music coming soon it’s an EP with six songs and I will be releasing singles all year

10-How do you feel about the internet in the music business? I love the internet it’s a way for artist to get more in touch with the people that love them and help get Music out there that’s how the new generation have a voice and a chance to be who you want

11-What are the plans for the future?
My plans are very simple I just want to be happy, with my family, in peace, making music, and health.

12-How has your music evolved since you first began playing music?
It has a lot I have different sounds that I will be providing so whatever type of mood you feel I’ll be there for you.

13-Could you briefly describe the music-making process? 
First I need to listen to a beat, I’m picky so I listen to a lot of them. When I hear the perfect beat I start getting ideas of how the song will go then I create lyrics to the sound, I call my manager then I get my ass in the studio and finish the vocals, I add everything else magic, spice, good feelings in there and boom! We got a panda $antana track, I play it again and again and jam to my own music
