1. Waht have you guys been up to?
We have been in the lab working on some new tunes that we are very excited to share with the world.
2. That’s right, you just had a couple of new releases, right?
Yes, our latest realeases “The Calling” and “You Can Take My Money”.
We kind of tapped a little bit into our darker sides for these songs.
“The Calling” about letting go, giving into the aggression but channeling it through the music and dance. This tune also has great sounds and change ups that really take you on this journey of emotions.
“You Can Take My Money” taps into our love for classic and conventional rock. With lyrics of being wronged by people, a woman in this particular story, and bringin out a side of you that you don’t like.
We love that we were able to turn that pain into power and create this fun rock and roll song.
3. What else have you guys been up to?
So, we have been creating, buiding our tribe, connecting wih supporters worldwide, which has been amazing! The Love has been real.
We are getting ready for an exiciting new release this summer, “Gatekeeper”and planning out a promotional tour for the fall.
4. What are some of your inspirations?
We are very much inspired by new wave, disco, and the UK’s eloquent and chic new romantic movement. With influences such as artists Depeche Mode, Donna Summer, Tears For Fears, ABC, and Yaz. Virgin Skulls synthesis these pan-genre inspirations into a signature aesthetic while holed up in our Hoboken headquarters; a private studio stocked with state-of-the-art Modular Synths and a bevy of recording equipment.
