Shane Foster is an American producer and marketing executive, in addition to being a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served with distinction as an elite Paratrooper. Having first studied law, Shane is an alumnus of V.C.U., and an alumnus of The Los Angeles Film School where he obtained degrees in both Audio Engineering and Entertainment Business. Shane’s most recent work has graced the iTunes Top 200 Songs chart with Yo Gotti’s single “Play” (Remix), where it peaked at number 17. Shane’s other credits involve mentions in Hype Magazine as well as television, including collaborations with Showtime, MTV, BET, VH1 and Amazon Prime Video. Shane formed DFD Music with collaborating producer Davis Chris in 2016.

9 years old Started playing the drums in church and in school . I started so i wouldn’t be bored when i had to go to church with my family .
When and why did you start playing?
Which famous musicians do you admire? Why? Sean Combs, Suge Knight , Quincy Jones,
I can relate to their backstory and what it took for them to rise to success.
Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones? yes , Since I don’t rap or sing , DJ Clue mixtape and Dj Khaled Mixtapes. My style is very similar when it comes to formulating these songs and albums.
Who are your favorite producers ? Davis Chris , Twan The God , Tay Keith , Jwhite , Jetson Made , Igot20onmybeat, 808 Mafia
Have you been in competitions? I use to run distance in track , play basketball and football. Football team won state championship my freshman year. During early years I use to win various drum and band competitions. My junior and senior year of high school i placed 1st in the school science fair and 10th in the state .
Do you perform in public? no i just press play in various clubs and bars and watch people reactions to our music.
What makes this kind of music “good” to you? Authenticity
Why did you choose to play this kind of music? Thats simple, Because its the number one genre in the world.

How do you feel about the internet in the music business? Its vital to you becoming successful and recognized in this industry.
What are the plans for the future? Plans are to focus on release some more hit records and bring other producers , songwriters and engineers to the top also and finish law school.
How has your music evolved since you first began playing music? yes i adjust to what is working for other successful producers . Could you briefly describe the music-making process? Patience ,Then I focus , play very close attention to detail to every portion of the track.
