Interview by Tim Brown

When and why did you start playing? What up, I started rapping when I was 22…but as far as rapping on a serious level…i’d say back in 2015. Why? I was influenced by
my pops (rip) who was a musician as well, on the latin side of things as a latin percussionist.

Which famous musicians do you admire? Why? Im a huge fan and admirer of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo (The Neptunes) Snoop Dogg, The Game, and Jay-Z to name a few.
The Reason I’m a Pharrell & Chad Hugo fan is, I love both their talent and a huge fan of them as Producers, their Production is insane.
Snoop has always been in my top 5 as rappers, I grew up listening to him being on the Westcoast…same as The Game, I remember buying “The Documentary”

Album when it came out in 2005 and been a fan since from there on out. Jay has always been a big influence to me also…his wordplay, metaphors etc are dope af.

Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones? Yes for sure, I’d have to say The Fabolous Soul Tape Mixtapes were a big influence on me. Record wise I gotta go with “Excuse Me Miss”, and “Dead Presidents 2
By Jay-Z and “Ups and Downs” & ‘Let’s Get Blown” by Snoop Dogg off that Rhythm & Gangsta Album

Who are your favorite musicians? Groups? CD’s? Favorite Musicians overall are Earth Wind and Fire, Donnell Jones, Pharrell Williams, The Neptunes
Favorite CD’s are “Rhythm & Gangsta” By Snoop Dogg, “The Documentary” by Game, and the “Blueprint III” By Jay-Z

Have you been in competitions? Any prizes? No haven’t been in any competitions

Do you perform in public? Describe those occasions? Concerts, radio, TV. I’ve Performed in Various clubs around the LA/Orange County area…at General Club Nights. The atmosphere and vibes were always lit

What makes this kind of music “good” to you? great question, I just love Hip-Hop in general…been a passion of mine for years…there’s a lot of Hard Work in play with making “good” music. it’s definitely a process that comes with the territory. I enjoy every bit of it

Why did you choose to play this kind of music? I chose this type of music because its a vibe and passion thats Unexplainable. the sounds, energy, creation of records is just amazing to me and I digg it!

Let’s Talk about your music and your last work…. So my music is unique in it’s own way. I have a smooth melodic flow…with a west coast feel to it…my last Single “Best Night” I got to work with a dope producer by the name of Nate Impact and Record Exec Julius Darrington who over saw the Project. We created a great Single which will be dropping on my up coming “Love To Hate” EP this 1st quarter.

How do you feel about the internet in the music business? I feel the internet has helped artists, producers, bands etc extremely in this day in age. its powerful and a great way to be discovered or seen now a days and promoting your brand.

What are the plans for the future? plans for the future are to elevate my brand to new heights, become super successful in the industry, tour the world, and to take care of my mom and family

How has your music evolved since you first began playing music? It’s evolved tremendously. As i worked with new producers since I started rapping, it helped evolve my sound every time and thats what i’m about. I’m all about progression so my sound has definitely done that through the years.

Could you briefly describe the music-making process? It definitely is a process, 1st you get the production finalized, get the beat, get in a zone, start writing, rehearse your verses a good amount of time before hitting up the studio that way when its time to hit the studio…the recording process is natural and comes from within. it brings out a whole other type of vibe out that I can’t explain. I love what I do.
