Interview by Tim Brown
When and why did you start playing? I’ve been writing songs since I was in school and when I was in the army I realised I want to do this permanently
Which famous musicians do you admire? Why? All music inspires and influences me.
Who are your favorite musicians? Groups? CD’s? pink Floyd, jimmy page, slash, mutt Lange the producer, Marvin Gaye. Tony Franklin, Stewart Copeland
Let’s Talk about your music and your last work… I was busy writing and producing songs for the talented artist Holly Carter who I adore and admire.
But now I’m producing all my own music again which I’m loving.
My new song End Of The Line is a indie Rock song which is available on all
Downloaded sites.
What are the plans for the future? I would like to produce more music for other artists and maybe write and Produce another song for Holly Carter as I’ve enjoyed doing classical pop music with her as her voice is like an angel.
How has your music evolved since you first began playing music? the music industry has to much autotune on the vocals and it all sounds to computerized for me.
Could you briefly describe the music-making process? I will write the lyrics or sometimes create the music parts first then start writing the lyrics.
Every song I write varies as it depends how I’m feeling at that moment in time.
I try to get all the ideas that are in my head recorded.
How do you feel about the internet in the music business? I think the music business is mostly about looks and not always about talent. I’m not a massive fan of all of today’s artists but I do listen to everything as we can all
Learn from each other.
Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones? I love listening to old Motown records and old rock songs
I do like some 80’s music like Tears for Fears, Duran Duran and Queen.
