Mos-B, He was born in Sierra Leone to a musical mother and grew up with a deep thirst for making music. His first performance as a musician was in front of a 20,000 audience and since then, his popularity and appeal are on the rise.

He started making music and writing songs using drums, cups and such household utensils. He became obsessed with the guitar from the very first time he was exposed to one. To learn to play the guitar became. 

everything to him. The only person with a guitar was in another.

Reluctantly his parents allowed him to walk to  

the other village every weekend to learn to make music on a guitar. An extremely focused, highly motivated and determined person. He rapidly learns to make music on the guitar but then he also realized that he needed to learn more. He moved to Freetown where he finished his basic education and completed a course in a Performing Art College, as a musicians.

When and why did you start playing?

I started making music since I was 14 yeas old in Sierra Leone West Africa


Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?

SEAL Phil Colins, Bob Marley, Snoop Dog, R Kelly Celin Dion Michael Jackson Stevie Wonder etc.

I admire all this legend they were music, the voice, performance they were inspiring was much younger I always wanted to be like them, their song writing styles was unique.


Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which ones?

I met cassette yes, I was inspired Bob Marley.


Who are your favorite musicians? Groups? CD’s?

Yes, I won several music competitions in Sierra Leona and won. Awards for best Sierra Leone diaspora Artist 2019, best live performer 2016, best versatile Artist 2019

Yes, I do many years on big and small festivals? 5k 20k 100 50 etc. around Europe and Africa website or YouTube for more www.mos-b.com I have been ft on the BBC the French media last year I was among the first world artist in January to release a song against corona. Tv many in Holland France Belgium Sierra Leone

There has been progress since I started, the name and the music are spreading

Could you briefly describe the music-making process?

I’m a guitar player sometimes I write songs on the guitar, I produce sometimes after creating a beat the song and lyrics flows, my corona virus viral song ‘war against corona, I first recorded the guitars after improvised the song was born. My single now “What the world needs is love” Was born after creating the beat, the lyrics were born, then I recorded the vocals.
