About NOW Entertainment

NOW Entertainment is an American record label and media company based in Georgia. NOW Entertainment was established in 2011 by Tony M Fountain. It was founded with a rebellious spirit & clear goal: we want to provide artists a platform without the constraints of conventional label structures. We also offer an array of Artist Services.

NOW Entertainment is much more than a name. “NOW” is an acronym for Never Off Work on ourselves through growth in all aspects of life, including the creation and development of one’s art/craft. Additionally, NOW is just that, it’s NOW!! It’s not tomorrow or yesterday. We choose to not live in the past nor allow it to define us without fear of the future and what it will bring.

It all started as an idea; an idea Max Trenton Taylor Henderson & Tony M. Fountain would over time, bring to fruition. At 12 years of age, during Art class, the future founders of Never Off Work Entertainment collectively drew and designed concepts of starting their own multi-media company with aspirations of creating movies, music, and video games. Years later, one night, while on break from cleaning a local bank, the two, riddled with poverty, conceptualized a plan to never be out of work or in a dead-end job again. A plan that would make all this possible while simultaneously allowing the two the opportunity they’ve dreamed of since they were in the 6th grade. Thus, the name, “An Idea, Publishing.”

Afterwards Michael Boyington aka Excluzive (a member of Stick Boys, a Nappy Roots spin-off group and brother of Mr. Henderson), joined the team. As a bootstrapped label, the two would buy damaged equipment and repair it themselves to save on startup costs. Inspired after an interview with Jazz musician and studio owner Joey Stuckey; Tony, Excluzive, and Kooly put NOW Entertainment into motion. Currently, seven years later, the two continue to lay the foundation that enable their artists to build their careers and become major players in the hip-hop industry.
